Not only do we focus on medical care at the highest level, but also equal attention is paid to amenities that make our patients feel comfortable. Since successful treatment has been shown to be positively supported by an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable, we have yet one more reason to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.

Catering

The kitchen also meets the highest demands and offers daily culinary specialties. Our Food Services Director, Manfred Strohmeier, and his team are on hand to meet your dining needs. His goal is to spoil you with the finest in natural foods. We primarily serve products from regional farms and certified organic farms. And for our patients with dietary restrictions due to health reasons our dietician strives to create extra-tasty meals.

Cafeteria

If you are looking for a change of scene or would like to dine with visitors outside of your room, we would be pleased to welcome you in our cafeteria on the ground floor – as long as your attending physician and health condition permit.

Our cafeteria always offers fresh meals, snacks, and beverages. If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy your meal in our extensive garden.

Impressions

Rooms

Each ward of the private hospital features 10 double rooms, 15 single rooms and one apartment.

Each room at Graz Ragnitz Private Hospital comes with its own private bathroom including a shower and toilet. The furnishing of the rooms with wireless LAN, radio, telephone, air conditioning, minibar, safe and satellite television make staying in the hospital comparable to living in a high-quality hotel.  Each of our double rooms’ beds features its own swivel-mounted flat screen TV; so each guest can watch their desired program. The majority of the rooms also offer private balconies.

In addition to setting up standards for all rooms, like a certain minimum size, balconies, air conditioning and a friendly design, those criteria also include meals and personal care. Besides regular meals we also provide our patients with free snacks such as fruit, yoghurt and cakes, as well as toiletries and bathrobes.

Bathrobe, hair dryer

You do not need to bring your own bathrobe or hairdryer for your stay at our hospital. A bathrobe will be waiting for you in the cabinet of your room upon arrival. There is also a hairdryer in your bathroom.

Toiletries

A set of toiletries is provided to every patient in the bathroom, consisting of shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap and nail file.

If necessary, we would be happy to provide you with disposable slippers.

Lock box

All patients are provided with a lock box for storing their valuables. Use of the lock box is free and takes place at the patient’s own risk. The hospital accepts no liability for valuables or other objects placed in the lock box.

Garden

Our hospital is nestled in the beautiful, serene scenery of a natural biotope, inviting you to take long walks or simply rest. Our herb garden is a very special experience for the senses; a colorful medley of thyme, sage, rosemary, lemon balm, and more seduces the visitor into the world of scents and fragrances.  Anyone who feels like it is welcome to tread water in the Kneipp basin or - depending on the season - indulge in the berry garden.
